In Sept did your Google Toolbar for Firefox stop logging in? The toolbar would indicate it wasn't logged in and the bookmarks weren't working. First as is known from Google the last version supported is FireFox v4.x - so make sure you're running that. Secondly make the modification as noted on the this page. This will get both logging in and Google Bookmarks working!
