Well today is a revelation day. After 'studying' yesterday and all the stuff that happened on the weekend (pis) Mr. W told me a lot of shit. How do I begin to think about this? It's too much.

Top three things developers should look at to monetize on their apps and skills?

1) Find a hole in the market. It doesn't do any good to create a product that does the same thing that a few other products already do.
2) Figure out what sets you apart, embrace it, and market the crap out of it.
3) The hardest part about monetizing an application or product is getting it noticed by the people who are willing to pay for it. Leverage social networks, get out and talk to everyone to build your personal network, and set aside as much cash as possible for promotional opportunities.
