It was Mr. Mexican's Bornday today. He wanted to have his party at my place. No problem. Other then having about 15 people that I didn't know, things went OK. It was short but that was perfect - everything ended before twelve. I waited for Mr. W. for 40 mins. but no luck. I assumed he had forgotten or decided to not come. Then @12:28am Mr. T phoned. He was with: Alex, Max and Frank. They wanted to come over. Since it was unclear if Mr. W. was coming [I had assumed not at this point] and I still wanted some entertainment I welcomed their call. I picked them up at the corner store. We came back, they ordered pizza. I don't know why everyone always orders pizza I'd gladly sell/give mine. Well they watched the DVD, "Sin City" and then crashed. Mr. W. had finally called @1:40am. I had to say no - even though I felt bad. I don't think some of these guys get along with him. I'm glad I didn't wait after all waiting over an hour and a half and not knowing for sure if he was coming would not have been fun. I guess next time I will wait'ish.
After being away for the entire summer Mr. W. finally returned. The first night was boring as hell with P and him, but the other two days were great. Mr. W crashed.
A much better more normal time with Mr.W. He left ~3:00am. Makes up for yesterday. Just watched the DVD, "7 Seconds". Not a great film.
Mr. W. is back - I had a lot of running around to do some stuff - like take out Chinese food etc. Unfortunately someone began his stuff in the car too soon. The whole night wasn't fun. We meet up with P and stuff just got more boring.
After reading about a new puzzle called Sudoku here I found an online version.
Another small MDB avec: Petit-P, Alex, Max et Mr.T.
No matter what venue you go to from customer service to program development, in my mind it's all about exception handling. Oddly I don't believe as human beings we handle exceptions at all well. So of course this begs the question why modern programming languages use this method for handling problems....
Well got the brakes fixed while I was on vacation. There was a steel on steel sound so I didn't want to return with that sound. It's still not perfect, but it's better.
Signed up for school. Since there was a weird pre-req for one of the courses I had to go onto the campus. The 3 people that can sign-off on me taking the required courses weren't on the campus, so I returned home and e-mail them.
