GoogleMaps
Spent a few hours putting together a cool little demo with GoogleMaps. Nice little hack.
A friend visited today. He's very cool. He's got things together. The 'manual labour' thing got me thinking.
I always feel a responsibility to pass on information. To teach the next generation. But recently I came across someone that said the same thing that my cousin said, "I want to do manual labour". I just don't get it. Why aim so low? There is absolutely nothing wrong with manual labour but I don't think it's something to aim for. Aim high. If you reach it great, if not then hopefully you fall just a little short. And the real question, what is my responsibility? Is there something that I can do? We'll see in the next 10+ years.
Well as usual I had no idea that this weekend is a long weekend. Looks like everyone has left town.
Well today my report card arrived. Looks good. Over 80% average. Cooooooooool.
Watched the DVD, Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason. Never saw part 1. It's a light rom. comedy. OK.
Labels: DVD
Spent the last few days doing a web-site with XML, CSS and HTML. Really interesting stuff. The question - how x-platform compatiable is it ? Will find out in the next few days.
Well the MDB #1 went pretty well. There was only, "Frank" that seemed to get sick. Otherwise as of this moment I don't see anything missing [please]. I'm really surprised everyone was pretty cool. Nico [aka: Nick] spent sometime speaking to me in English. It was one of those things where there was always another person standing there kind'a laughing because of the way he was speaking but everyone is really OK in English.
